These factsheets and news releases have been formatted for dissemination on the Internet by the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), the National Wildlife Refuge System (NWRS), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), SeaWorld/Busch Gardens (SW/BG), World Wildlife Fund, and EE-Link. (In parentheses after each entry find the initials of the original source). A few of these species are not currently on the FWS Threatened and Endangered list because of species recovery, or may be threatened in a limited area.
