on International Trade in Threatened and Endangered
Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
- Full text of the CITES (pronounced "site-ease")
treaty describing regulations, conditions for permits,
exemptions, amendments, measures to be taken, etc. by
participating countries to promote conservation of wild
plants and animals.
WWF CITES
Site
- CITES (the Convention on International Trade in
Endangered Species) is the only global treaty that aims
to regulate trade in threatened and endangered species.
During the 10th CITES meeting(June 6 to 20, 1997) in
Harare, Zimbabwe, WWF's Dana Lauren West filed daily
