Good and Poor Examples of Each Proposal Element This page contains several examples each of well and poorly written proposal elements such as learner outcomes, authentic task, hook, student direction, and best use of technology. After these examples, several more "unlabelled" examples are given so participants can discuss which are well and poorly written. A teacher's edition page which provides rationales as to why the examples are good or poor is also available.
Sample Hooks This page shows several examples of hooks for projects.

Proposal Activity 1: Before/Analysis/After

Proposal Activity 2: Before/After

Proposal Activity 3: Before

These page contain several examples each of well and poorly written proposals (learner outcomes, authentic task, hook, student direction, and best use of technology). In the first example, each "before" proposal is given with a facilitator analysis of questions that the authors could consider to improve their proposal. An improved proposal is also given. In the second activity, the "before" and "after" proposals are given, but the analysis is blank so it can be discussed by participants. In the third activity, only the "before" proposal is given. The analysis and an improved proposal can be discussed by participants.
Proposal creation is a process This page shows one example of a typical feedback and revision cycle for a proposal. E-mails between a fictitious participant and facilitator are shown.
