Fermilab LInC Online

Genetics, Genomics, and Genethics

Bulletin Board Conversation

At first, the bulletin board discussion will revolve around these questions:

  • What are the main issues emerging from recent developments in genetics and genomics?
  • What are the legal and ethical implications?
  • What are the scientific principles involved?

Later, you and the institute faculty will start sub-conversations that focus on particular issues.  These sub-conversations will eventually grow into institute "working groups." Each working group will collaborate and develop a curricular unit pertaining to the chosen issue.
