Subject:  language arts

Learner Outcomes:

        Students will be able to:
     

         1) write for a specified audience
         2) take notes, organize and report information
         3) will proofread and revise their work
     
     

Student Task:  Once a month students would read a novel and write a book review for it.

Teacher Role: Teacher would grade book reviews.

Grouping: Students worked independently.

Hook:  none

Student-Directed Learning: Students were able to choose their book.

Use of Technology: Some students typed their book reviews.

Assessment: Book reviews were graded by teacher.
