Staff Development

Mission Statement: The Farmington Public Schools will create an environment in which all students and staff will employ technology as a tool to work in improved ways to support learning and increase productivity.

Community/School Support:

  1. We will kick this off by getting press coverage for the Summer Technology Academy.
  2. We will publicize the results of the Summer Technology Academy through the School and Community Relations department of the school district.
  3. To inform the parent community, we will utilize the resulting web grid as a teaching site for Community Education internet classes.

Engaged Learning Goal: All teachers will successfully navigate and incorporate the internet in the delivery of Farmington's core curriculum.
