Now that you have accepted the Challenge, are part of a team, and you know what your investigative task is,  you are ready to begin!! Pick a task to work on from your investigative folder, and with that in mind choose an expert or site below to visit and begin to gather your data.

Galaxy The professional's guide to a world of information. Community Learning Network This is a site with links to many sites covering many educational topics. Classroom Connect This is a site that teachers can go to get information on different topics. Look for the Social Studies section or the Geography section. Yahoo News and Media by Country If you want the latest news on a country try this site. Alta Vista Translation Site Believe it or not, if you have text in a language you don't understand, you may be able to get an immediate translation by copying the text into this site and pressing the translation button!! CIA World Fact Book Who knows better than the CIA? Try here for facts on your countries. Yahoo Country/Region Index Yahoo has more information on countries. How Far Is It? If you want to know how far a city in your country is from your hometown, or any other city, click here to find out. News Central This is the place to go to find newspapers all over the world. National Geographic You can always count on National Geographic for good information on places you want to learn about. History/Social Studies Website for K-12 Teachers Just because it says it's for teachers, doesn't mean that students can't go there too. Look for the page on Central and South America. EDSITement One more place to find good info. The HistoryNet Check here for historical data. Bilingual Social Studies  These are other social studies lessons for bilingual students to take a look at. Stevens Institute of Technology is at the forefront in helping teachers to enter the world of high tech teaching. Their programs are outstanding and I am personally grateful to them for many of the outstanding links that I have included here.

Keep working to maintain your folder up to date and mark off your check list as you complete a task.  After you gather each piece of data of interest, prepare it for publishing on a word processor.  Then when your project has been approved by your editor (teacher), it is ready to be input on the country data page.  Remember, you can work in either English or Spanish.  Keep in touch with other team members and visit other investigators who are in the same Occupation as you are to see how they are doing.

Ponga mucho trabajo en mantener su folio al dia y marque las tareas que has completado. Despues de encontrar la informacion nescesaria, preparela en una computadora para ser publicadacada. Cuando su proyecto ha sido aprobado por un editor (maestro), estara listo para ser incluido en la pagina de ese pais.   Acuerdese que puede trabajar en ingles o en espanol.  Mantengase en contacto con  otros miembros de su equipo y visite los otros investigatores los cuales estan en la misma Occupacion que usted para ver como van ellos.
