The Phriendly Physics project embraces the philosophy that children learn about their world through their own explorations and their naturally inquisitive nature. Understanding physical science is the basis for understanding other sciences as well as technology. A comfortable understanding of physical science through inquiry will strengthen understanding not just of science, but of the world.

These explorations are written by teachers and Fermilab scientists. Scientists have written concept explanations as background information. Use your students' questions as an invitation to learn about the physical world.
