Warnings and References
JavaScript programs on these pages are very experimental. Some bugs give you wrong answers.
If you are a student, please do not rely upon solutions generated by the "Handlers". If you have a homework
problem to do, you should follow the instructions of your teacher regarding the best ways to solve it. Once
you have done this, try to use the appropriate "Handler" to find the answer again on screen. Sometimes this
goal will not be possible; the pages cannot completely address every possible level of problem.
If you are a teacher, please see that the choice of equations and abbreviations offered in the "Handers"
represent a compromise between conflicting methods of notation in different publications. Another limitation
is the current inability of HTML and JavaScript to display the full variety of mathematical and scientific
symbols.
