Robert Schwarzkopf
Bob taught middle school science in Elgin, Illinois for about twenty years. He was burned out and had considered leaving the profession when an application for summer program caught his
eye. Bob registered and was accepted in the 1990 Summer Science Project. It changed his life! Bob was immersed in new activities, novel ways of presenting old activities, visiting
local science facilities and sharing with other teachers. A newly recharged Bob Schwarzkopf is still teaching science. He dives into new science opportunities and attends Fermilab workshops to invigorate his teaching and teaches at the SciTech Museum in Aurora.
