Science Resource Fair - March 15-16, 1996
The Teacher Resource Center and the Demonstration Site for
the Mathematics and Science Consortia of North Central Regional
Education Laboratory will hold its
Second Annual Science Resource
Fair on March 15-16, 1996.
The feature author of this year's Fair will be
Janice VanCleave,
nationally known author of science activity books. Janice will
do a Hands-on Keynote Session, "Making Classroom Science
Awesome!" in the Fermilab Wilson Hall, Ramsey Auditorium
on Friday and a workshop for teachers on Saturday morning.
Educators may register to attend the Resource Fair which is designed
to be an indepth sampling of resources for teaching mathematics,
science and technology in the K-12 classroom. Participants will
select from several 90-minute sessions.

CD-I (Compact Disk Interactive) technology.
· Experience activities from nationally recognized
programs that include
hands-on science methods and STS
(science-technology and society) connections.
· Use the
Internet as an professional development
and educational tool.· Sample new
CD-Rom products
and see new t
radebooks.
· Learn what other area science resources such as
the
Brookfield Zoo, Adler Planetarium and Chicago Academy of
Science have to offer the classroom teacher.
· Receive materials for
National Science and
Technology Week.
· More sessions to be confirmed.
