Public Tours

Come learn why Fermilab is America's premier particle physics laboratory and the accelerator-based neutrino research capital of the world! Public Tours are for people ages 10 and older. Children ages 10 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Public Tours start in the 1st floor Atrium of Wilson Hall. Enter the ground floor entrance to access elevators if needed. Guests will learn more about Fermilab's history in the Atrium and Art Gallery, head to the 15th floor for a unique view of the lab's campus, and even take a step into the Main Control Room!

April 15, 10 a.m.–noon
All participants must be at least 10 years old. Participants 18 years of age and older will be required to show a REAL ID to enter Fermilab. Please see the appropriate documents here. Each adult must register separately, children will be included in their guardian's registration. Registration will close on Thursday April 11 at noon.

May 20, 10 a.m.–noon
All participants must be at least 10 years old. Participants 18 years of age and older will be required to show a REAL ID to enter Fermilab. Please see the appropriate documents here. Each adult must register separately, children will be included in their guardian's registration. Registration will close on Thursday May 16 at noon.

June 17, 10 a.m.–noon

Self-guided Tours

The Lederman Science Center (LSC) offers a way to have a hands-on experience with Fermilab Science. The LSC is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. You also can explore the public-access portion of Fermilab's outdoor areas via car, bike and on foot from dawn to dusk daily.
