What Happens When Things Go Near the Speed of Light?

Faster than a speeding bullet, but does he approach the velocity of a speeding photon? If he does, Superman enters a realm where Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity rules.

If you and Superman measure the distance (D) he travels in a given time (t), you expect to get identical measurements regardless of his speed (v), because you know that D = vt. We cannot perform the experiment with our superhero, but we can use Fermilab particle physics data to investigate objects with velocities near the speed of light.
