Journaling

The journal is going to serve two purposes for the duration of this class.

Participant Journals

The second function of the journal will be as a location for each participant to keep his/her own notes during the times you are doing research, contacting experts and e-mailing other sources for information. Each participant will have his/her own file for making journal entries and will be able to access it from anytime you are able to connect to the Internet.

Weekly Journal Entries

First, participants will use the journal to answer several short questions at the end of each class period. Your answers to these questions will give us an idea of your weekly progress and any needs, which you might have. Your journal entries will be one form of ongoing assessment for this course. Journal responses will be posted in COW under the topic of Journal Assignments.
