Below are the criteria by which you will be assessed.
 Point Value Outstanding = 2 pts Satisfactory = 1 pt Needs Imp = 0 pts
Social Studies Content Fully responds to information requested by the Power Rangers. Uses many examples to support content. Answers most questions correctly. Uses some examples to support content. Answers less than half of questions correctly. Uses few or no examples to support content.
Persuasive Discourse Persuasive argument contains a statement of opinion, at least 3 supporting reasons, and a summary statement. Persuasive argument contains statement of opinion, but provides only 1 or 2 supporting reasons, or lacks a summary statement. Persuasive argument lacks a statement of opinion, and/or does not contain at least 1 supporting reason and does not contain a summary statement.
E-mail Correspondence E-mail letters use correct letter format and language appropriate to the audience. E-mail letters require some revision by teacher to conform to correct letter format or appropriate language. Group Effectiveness Group succeeds in each area: 1) makes effective use of class time; 2) is aware of each member's role and responsibility; 3) is focused on the group task; and 4) follows directions consistently, with minimal reminders. Group succeeds in only 3 of the four areas. Group succeeds in less than 3 of the four areas.

11 - 12 = Outstanding

8 - 10 = Satisfactory

0 - 9 = Needs Improvement
