Before the Aviation Project this project did not exist. Components of the Aviation Project were taught without the aviation slant. The classes were taught in the traditional way with a teacher at the front of the classroom giving the students direction. Students took notes. The teacher gave some guided practice problems. The teacher checked for student understanding by looking at completed work. Homework was assigned to extend the learning.
Grade Level: 10th grade
Subject: CAD
Learner Outcomes: Students were able to create drawings using CAD. Students were able to draw three view (multiview) drawing and place dimensions according to standards.
