First Meeting Agenda

10 Agenda for first meeting is well planned out, submitted to the instructors two or more days in advance, and shows evidence that it will result in an effective, productive meeting.
8 Agenda shows evidence of thought and planning, but needs minor revisions.  Submitted two or more days in advance and revised in time for actual meeting.
6 Agenda is missing one or two major components and is not submitted in time for revision prior to meeting.
4 Agenda is missing more than two major components and is not submitted in time for revision prior to meeting.

Timeline & Assignments

20 Detailed list of tasks to be completed, specific person(people) assigned to each task, and intermediate deadlines are provided to instructor and all group members.  Work is evenly distributed among group members and projected timeline is reasonable.
16 Timeline and assignment sheet shows evidence of thought and planning, but needs minor revisions which occur after conferencing with instructor.
12 Timeline and assignment sheet are missing one or two major components and/or shows uneven or unreasonable distribution of tasks.
8 Timeline and assignment sheet are missing more than two major components and/or shows uneven or unreasonable distribution of tasks.
4 Vague and incomplete timeline and assignment list submitted, leaving group members unsure of how to proceed.
0 No timeline and assignment list submitted

Midterm & Final Progress Reports

10 Report details what has been accomplished and by whom.   If any part of the project is "behind schedule," detailed reasons for the delay and contingency plans for getting back on track are provided.  If necessary, a revised timeline and assignments sheet is prepared for the second half of the project
8 Report summarizes what has been accomplished and by whom, but may be vague in some areas.  Reasons for any delays and contingency plans for getting back on track are still included.  Revised timeline and assignment sheet is prepared for the second half of the project if necessary.
6 Report lacks detail and instructors must seek further clarification from the leader as to the state of the project and/or contributions of individual members.  Reasons for delays and contingency plans are provided, but may be incomplete.  Revised timeline and assignment sheet may also show gaps.
4 Minimal progress report submitted.  May list general areas that have been completed, but no detail is provided.  Report fails to specify who has accomplished the tasks and/or fails to state future plans.
2 Report consists of a simple list of items accomplished.
0 No progress report submitted.
